Jared Harris Joins Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence in Martin Scorsese’s Upcoming Film
Jared Harris is set to star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence in Martin Scorsese’s forthcoming feature, What Happens at Night. Produced by Apple Original Films in collaboration with Studiocanal, the film tells the story of a married American couple who travel to a small, snowy European town to adopt a baby. Patricia Clarkson and Mads Mikkelsen will also feature in the cast.
Scorsese will direct and produce the film through his production company, Sikelia Productions. The screenplay is adapted from Peter Cameron’s novel by Patrick Marber.
This project marks another collaboration between Scorsese, DiCaprio, and Apple Original Films, following their critically acclaimed film Killers of the Flower Moon, which received ten Oscar nominations. Lawrence has partnered with Apple Original Films on several projects, including Causeway and Bread & Roses, and is set to star in and produce the upcoming murder mystery The Wives.

In addition to his film work, Harris has an impressive television resume that includes acclaimed series such as The Crown, Mad Men, Fringe, and Chernobyl.
