DJ, play a love song! Actor and musician Jamie Foxx is set to welcome more love into his life, as he and girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp are reportedly expecting their first child together.
According to a report from TMZ on May 12, the couple’s joyful news comes as Foxx, who has two daughters from previous relationships, prepares for this new chapter in his life. People also confirmed the news shortly after.

Foxx first became a father approximately 32 years ago with the birth of his daughter Corinne, whom he shares with ex Connie Kline. He is also the father of 17-year-old Anelise, with ex Kristin Grannis.
Foxx and Huckstepp have reportedly been in a relationship since 2023, experiencing a brief breakup in early 2025 before reconciling later that year. Last year, Foxx also faced significant health challenges, suffering a life-threatening brain bleed that resulted in a stroke and required emergency surgery. Reflecting on his ordeal, Foxx described a near-death experience, stating, “I saw the tunnel. I didn’t see the light. It was hot in that tunnel. Sh–, am I going to the wrong place in this motherf—er? Because I looked at the end of the tunnel, and I thought I saw the devil, like, ‘C’mon. Or is that [Diddy]?’”
He emphasized the vital role of his daughters during this challenging time, especially noting how Anelise played her guitar in his hospital room to support him. Corinne was also instrumental in keeping the public at bay during his recovery, as he expressed, “I didn’t want you to see me like that. I want you to see me like this.”
