HUNTR/X introduced their fictional K-pop group, KPop Demon Hunters, at the 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The group, featuring vocals from EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI, made their daytime television debut during the annual New York City celebration on Thursday, November 27.
Joining a striking blue demon cat balloon from Netflix’s hit animated film, HUNTR/X delivered an energetic rendition of their hit single “Golden,” which dominated the Billboard Hot 100 chart for eight weeks.
Dressed in all black, the trio performed alongside a troupe of golden-gloved dancers on a stage adorned with their logo. Fireworks erupted as the audience cheered in support.
Earlier this year, HUNTR/X made their live television debut, performing “Golden” in a sketch with Bad Bunny during the season 51 premiere of Saturday Night Live on October 4. They later showcased their first full-length performance of the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on October 7, where they also participated in an interview.
In addition to “Golden,” three other tracks from the film’s soundtrack—”How It’s Done,” “What It Sounds Like,” and “Takedown”—have also entered the top 40 of the Hot 100. This soundtrack made history by becoming the first film soundtrack to reach the top of the U.S. albums chart since Encanto in 2022.
HUNTR/X was joined by other notable performers at this year’s parade, including Cynthia Erivo, Lainey Wilson, Ciara, Foreigner, Debbie Gibson, Jewel, Lil Jon, Kool & the Gang, Taylor Momsen, Busta Rhymes, Shaggy, and Teyana Taylor.
