Huh Yunjin from LE SSERAFIM Shows Off a 2010 Taylor Swift-Inspired Hairstyle: The ‘Fearless Family Tree’ Connection
LE SSERAFIM’s Huh Yunjin Channels Taylor Swift with Bold New Hairstyle
Huh Yunjin of LE SSERAFIM has embraced a striking throwback hairstyle reminiscent of her idol, Taylor Swift. The K-pop star shared a series of photos on Instagram showcasing her newly dyed blonde hair styled in a sleek ponytail, complete with bangs that mirror Swift’s iconic look from the 2010 American Music Awards.
On April 27, Yunjin posted the photos and included images of Swift performing “Back to December,” a track from her 2010 album, Speak Now. “Uhhhh yeah lowkey it’s a fearless family tree,” she captioned the carousel, hinting at the inspiration behind her hairstyle.
Sixteen years ago, Swift’s bangs were seen as edgy, marking a significant shift from her signature blonde curls. It wasn’t until late 2011 that Swift fully embraced bangs, cutting them for a Vogue photoshoot.
Huh Yunjin is no stranger to Swift’s influence, often citing the pop icon as a key inspiration for her songwriting. “More than the story itself, it’s how she tells it that really struck me at a young age,” Yunjin shared in an interview with W Magazine in 2023.
As LE SSERAFIM prepares to release their album PUREFLOW pt. 1 on May 22, fans eagerly anticipate new music following their recent single “Spaghetti,” featuring BTS’s j-hope, which dropped alongside "Celebration" on April 24.
