Heather Shaw’s First Stand-Up Special: ‘Alright, See Ya!’
Comedian Heather Shaw Announces Debut Special "Alright, See Ya!"
Comedian Heather Shaw is set to release her debut special, Alright, See Ya!, on YouTube on Thursday, May 14. The special includes her humorous takes on a variety of topics, including gay bars, Caitlyn Jenner, and broader pop culture themes.
The performance was filmed before a sold-out audience at Comedy Cabin in Janesville, Wisconsin, in January. Shaw not only starred in the special but also took on writing and production duties, with Tom Feeney directing and serving as executive producer.
Shaw has been honing her stand-up skills for more than a decade, beginning in Florida before transitioning to national tours. She gained significant recognition in 2020 through TikTok, where she humorously claimed to be related to Jim Carrey, thanks to her striking resemblance and distinctive facial features. This quirky connection helped her amass nearly 3 million followers and approximately 94 million likes on the platform.
In addition to her stand-up work, Shaw has appeared on programs such as Tamron Hall, The Today Show, and Comics Unleashed. She also hosts the weekly podcast Heather Shaw is Kidding, which delves into entertainment and pop culture. As she prepares for her upcoming tour starting in May, Shaw is represented by Reliant Talent Agency and Late Night Communications.
