HBO Max Reschedules Upcoming Episodes of ‘Industry’ and ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Before the Super Bowl
HBO Max Announces New Premieres for "Industry" and "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms"
HBO Max has revealed that the upcoming episodes of "Industry" and "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" will premiere earlier than usual. The two shows are now set to air on Fridays instead of Sundays, allowing viewers to watch the episodes before the network’s Sunday programming, which follows the Super Bowl.
The fifth episode of Season 4 of "Industry" and the fourth episode of "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" will be available on HBO Max starting Friday, February 6, at 12:01 a.m. PT/3:01 a.m. ET. Their linear broadcasts will still air at the standard times: 9 p.m. ET for "Industry" and 10 p.m. ET for "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms."
This schedule adjustment is not an uncommon practice for HBO, as the network has previously opted to move premiere dates to minimize competition with the Super Bowl.
"Industry," created by former bankers Konrad Kay and Mickey Down, debuted in 2020 to significant critical praise, chronicling the experiences of young graduates as they navigate the competitive trading environment at Pierpoint & Co., a prestigious investment bank in London. Its current season features characters caught in a rivalry with a new fintech enterprise called Tender.
The cast of Season 4 includes Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Kit Harington, Ken Leung, Max Minghella, and others.
Meanwhile, "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" serves as the second spinoff of George R.R. Martin’s acclaimed "Game of Thrones" series. Set a century before the events of the original series, it follows the adventures of the noble yet inexperienced knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, portrayed by Peter Claffey, and his small but brave squire, Egg, played by Dexter Sol Ansell. The six-episode season opened with its pilot on January 18 and explores themes of destiny and adventure amidst a world still dominated by the Targaryens.
