Disney Unveils First Look at Animated Feature "Hexed"
Disney has revealed a first look at its upcoming original animated feature, Hexed, directed by Josie Trinidad and Jason Hand. The film is set to premiere on November 25.
Hexed follows the journey of a teenager and her Type-A mother as they uncover that the girl’s uniqueness may stem from magical powers, ultimately upending their lives and introducing them to a hidden world of magic.
The voice cast features Hailee Steinfeld in the role of Billie Doe, the teenage protagonist, while Rashida Jones lends her voice to Billie’s mother. During an unveiling event at Disney’s CinemaCon presentation in Las Vegas, attendees were treated to footage showcasing Billie undergoing a personality test conducted by a sentient book and quill, both of whom invite her into a realm of magic and wonder.
The film is being produced by Roy Conli and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster-Jones, with Jared Bush serving as the executive producer.
