Gwyneth Paltrow Stuns in Pink Prada at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival Red Carpet
Gwyneth Paltrow made a stylish return to the red carpet this past weekend at the 41st Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival, showcasing a modern twist on one of her most memorable looks.
The actress donned a striking pink silk ensemble from Prada, reminiscent of her iconic bubblegum-hued Ralph Lauren gown worn at the 1999 Oscars. Paltrow’s attire featured a miniskirt with an elongated train and a matching bandeau crop top, layered under a sheer, spaghetti-strap tank that draws inspiration from ’90s fashion trends.
Paltrow accessorized her look with Christian Louboutin pumps and nearly $40,000 in Hearts on Fire diamonds, which included exquisite drop earrings valued at $24,000 and two rings totaling $8,400 and $6,400 respectively.
The 53-year-old actress attended the festival to honor her close friend Kate Hudson, who received the Arlington Award. Both women embraced a similar aesthetic, with Hudson wearing a pale pink and gold beaded dress from Louis Vuitton.
Hudson expressed her heartfelt appreciation for Paltrow during the event, stating, “she’s always been there for me, like the most loyal, beautiful friend. And I look up to her.”
During her speech, Paltrow affectionately noted, “She’s like a little sister to me,” further emphasizing their deep bond.
As the festival concluded, excitement grows around what these two iconic actresses will bring to the Oscars red carpet in 2026.
