Gwyneth Paltrow Stuns in a Sheer Lace Gown at the 2026 SAG Awards Red Carpet
Gwyneth Paltrow made a striking appearance at the 2026 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, where she showcased her style in a plunging black lace dress by Givenchy.
The actress, known for her role in “Marty Supreme,” turned heads on the red carpet in a sophisticated yet dramatic ensemble that featured a drop-waist silhouette and intricate sequined detailing. The dress flared out beyond her hips, complemented by an inner crinoline for added volume.
Paltrow’s sleeveless gown featured a deep neckline that extended to her navel, paired with tea-length styling that elegantly displayed her black strappy sandals, adorned with a classic bow at the ankle. To enhance her look, she accessorized with vintage turquoise Belperron drop earrings and styled her hair in an elegant bun.
This year’s SAG Awards introduced a unique theme—“Reimagining Hollywood Glamour From the ’20 and ’30s”—and Paltrow embodied this ethos effortlessly, evoking the spirit of Old Hollywood.
The actress is set to be one of the presenters at the ceremony, although she is not nominated for any awards. However, her film, “Marty Supreme,” is recognized in the best performance by a cast in a motion picture category. Her co-stars, Timothée Chalamet and Odessa A’Zion, are nominated for individual accolades, with A’Zion also set to present an award.
Paltrow’s attendance marks her return to the SAG Awards after a long hiatus—her last appearance was in 2000, following her wins for outstanding cast in a motion picture and outstanding actress for her role in “Shakespeare in Love.” During previous appearances, she sported simpler spaghetti strap dresses in shades of dove gray.
As a nod to her vintage style, Paltrow is currently auctioning select gowns from her career, including several worn at the Oscars. It’s possible that her stunning look from this evening may be among those cherished pieces in the future.
