Gwyneth Paltrow made a striking appearance on Monday’s episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, wearing a bold all-orange ensemble to promote her upcoming film, Marty Supreme. The 53-year-old actress embraced a color scheme inspired by her co-star, Timothée Chalamet, who had previously suggested the hue for the film’s marketing campaign.
Paltrow’s outfit featured a bright orange tracksuit complete with a high-neck zip-up jacket and matching sweatpants, detailed with white piping along the sides. To elevate her athletic look, she accessorized with white pumps and tasteful jewelry, tucking her long blonde hair behind her ears.
The significance of the orange attire ties back to a now-viral marketing brainstorming session between Chalamet and the film’s promotional team. During that meeting, Chalamet emphasized the importance of having a distinct color for Marty Supreme, similar to the iconic pink associated with the film Barbie. Instead of pink, Chalamet proposed a complex version of orange, describing it as "hardcore orange," "corroded orange," and "rusted orange."

Paltrow is not alone in donning orange; Chalamet and his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, showcased their own interpretations at the film’s Los Angeles premiere on December 8. The couple arrived on the red carpet in matching custom Chrome Hearts outfits, with Chalamet sporting a bright orange leather suit, combined with an orange silk shirt and Timberland boots. He carried a black leather ping-pong paddle case as an accessory.
Jenner complemented Chalamet’s look in an elegant floor-length orange gown adorned with triangular cutouts and a deep V-neckline. She completed her ensemble with eye-catching orange pumps.
With its theatrical release set for December 25, Marty Supreme is generating buzz not only for its colorful marketing strategies but also for the star power behind it.
