Country singer Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane are parents to five children, though they rarely make family public appearances.

The couple has opted to maintain their children’s privacy. Chris elaborated on this choice during the 2018 CMA Fest, stating, “I signed up for this, my children did not. I am a very private person, and in that respect, I keep my children out of it. They’re children, and they deserve the chance to be children.”

Married in 2007, Chris and Morgane welcomed their first child, son Waylon, in 2009. Their second child, daughter Ada, soon followed. They welcomed twin sons, Macon and Samuel, in 2018, and their fifth child, another boy, arrived in 2019, though his name remains undisclosed.

In December 2020, Chris shared insights into family life during the COVID-19 pandemic, acknowledging the joy of spending time with his children. He remarked, “I get ’em all up every morning and make ’em breakfast and watch ’em run around, you know? It’s a special thing to get to do. What a privilege and a gift in a year that on the surface might seem very devoid of gifts.”

In May 2023, Chris was awarded entertainer of the year at the ACM Awards, dedicating the honor to his children. In his acceptance speech, he said, “My kids sitting at home, they give up a lot of my time, a lot of my wife’s time so we can do this. This is for them.”

Waylon, 17

Waylon is the couple’s first child, born in 2009. He has remained largely out of the public eye, though Morgane has occasionally shared glimpses of him on Instagram. In October 2016, she posted a photo of him at the beach, enjoying a juice box while reading a book.

Waylon has made appearances on the red carpet alongside his parents. He was seen at the premiere of Toy Story 4 in June 2019 and was again spotted at the ACM Awards in March 2022. He celebrated his father’s Male Artist of the Year win at the latter event, jumping out of his seat in excitement.

Ada, 15

Ada, born in November 2010, is the couple’s second child and only daughter. She attended the premiere of Toy Story 4 with her family in 2019 and made a notable appearance at the ACM Awards in 2022, donning a black suit and matching accessories.

Morgane has shared images of Ada on social media as well, including a family photo taken at the Grand Canyon in May 2016. In December 2020, Chris spoke about the evolving personalities of his older children, expressing interest in their opinions and emotional growth.

Macon and Samuel, 7

Macon and Samuel, born in April 2018, are the couple’s twin sons. Their arrival was announced by Reba McEntire during the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards, highlighting their premature birth. Morgane shared the news on Instagram, expressing gratitude to the medical staff who cared for the twins during their initial hospitalization.

Morgane revealed her pregnancy with the twins on her 10th wedding anniversary with Chris, sharing a heartfelt post on social media. In a subsequent interview, Chris recalled his reaction upon learning they were expecting twins, describing a mix of shock and laughter.
