Get Ready for Adventure: Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Karl Urban Star in ‘The Bluff’ Trailer
Amazon MGM Studios released the trailer for The Bluff on Wednesday, an action-adventure film featuring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and The Boys star Karl Urban. The film, produced by the Russo brothers, is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on February 25.
In The Bluff, Chopra Jonas portrays Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden, a former pirate who believed she had left her turbulent past behind while living with her family in the Cayman Islands. However, her life is disrupted when her vengeful ex-captain, Connor (Urban), resurfaces.
The trailer showcases both lead actors engaged in intense action, as Bloody Mary utilizes her expertise with knives and swords, alongside clever traps and her indomitable spirit, to protect her newfound family, which includes her son (Vedanten Naidoo), husband (Ismael Cruz Cordova), and sister-in-law (Safia Oakley-Green). In a dramatic moment, Chopra Jonas instructs her son to “Look away” as she confronts Connor’s deadly crew.
Directed by Frank E. Flowers, who co-wrote the script with Joe Ballarini, The Bluff is produced by AGBO’s Joe and Anthony Russo along with Angela Russo-Otstot, Michael Disco, Cisely Saldaña, Mariel Saldaña, and Chopra Jonas.
