A Frontier Airlines flight destined for Los Angeles reportedly collided with an individual walking on the runway at Denver International Airport on Friday night, as indicated by air traffic control recordings. The incident occurred during takeoff at approximately 10:15 p.m.
The recordings reveal that the pilot communicated an engine fire and smoke within the cabin before notifying air traffic control that the aircraft needed to be evacuated on the runway. Passengers were instructed to use emergency slides for evacuation, as stated by Frontier Airlines.

The Airbus A321 was carrying 224 passengers and seven crew members. Originally scheduled to arrive at Los Angeles International Airport at 12:16 a.m., the flight has since been rescheduled for Saturday morning.
