Multi-Vehicle Crash in Covina Leaves Four Hospitalized
COVINA, Calif. — A serious multi-vehicle collision involving up to five cars occurred early Wednesday morning at a local intersection, resulting in four individuals being hospitalized.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department received reports of the incident at approximately 5:50 a.m. near the intersection of Hollenbeck Avenue and Cypress Street. Eyewitness accounts and SkyFOX footage revealed two vehicles with substantial structural damage and distorted frames.
Despite the extensive wreckage, authorities confirmed that no individuals were trapped in their vehicles and required extrication. The four injured parties were transported to nearby hospitals, though their specific injuries and identities remain undisclosed at this time.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, and police are expected to be at the scene for several hours. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes as crews work to clear debris and conduct a reconstruction of the accident.
