First Look at Nicolas Cage as Spider-Noir in Color and Black & White Trailer from Prime
Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Man Noir has emerged in a new preview for Sony Pictures Television’s Spider-Noir. The trailer was unveiled on Saturday by MGM+ and Prime Video during the CCXPMX26 event in Mexico City, featuring appearances from stars Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Jack Huston, and Karen Rodriguez, alongside creator and co-showrunner Oren Uziel.
In keeping with the noir theme, the trailer is available in both ‘Authentic Black & White’ and ‘True-Hue Full Color.’ The series is set to premiere on MGM+’s linear channel on May 25, with a global rollout scheduled for May 27.
The presentation included a video message from Cage, followed by an extended scene from the eight-episode series, which also features Abraham Popoola, Karen Rodriguez, and Brendan Gleeson.
Based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir, the series stars Cage as Ben Reilly, a down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York City. Reilly is portrayed as the city’s sole superhero, confronting the challenges of his past following a personal tragedy.
