Fabrizio Romano Brings You Daily Updates on the World Cup
EXCLUSIVE: Elon Musk’s platform X is venturing into the realm of World Cup coverage with a new daily video series led by renowned soccer journalist Fabrizio Romano.
From June through July, Romano, widely recognized for his transfer coverage, will host 40 videos and three live streams as the World Cup unfolds in North America.
Fabrizio 24/7 will present Romano’s predictions, analysis, and insights throughout the tournament. He previously produced a one-off segment for X that garnered an impressive 310 million impressions across all posts, according to the platform.
Recently, X has intensified its focus on original content, expanding its offerings to include series such as Inside the NFL, This Week in Baseball, as well as Venus and Serena Williams’ Stockton Street and Ari Emanuel’s Rushmore.
“I’m proud to bring Fabrizio 24/7 to X, delivering a real-time original series that keeps fans at the heart of every major moment,” Romano stated. “This is football’s biggest stage, and there’s no better platform than X to connect directly with that global audience in the fastest, most authentic way possible.”
X joins Netflix in producing a daily World Cup show for this summer’s tournament. The streaming service will air a vodcast version of Gary Lineker’s Rest is Football.
