The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to kick off with a remarkable lineup for its opening ceremonies. The New York Times reports that artists including Katy Perry, Future, Tyla, LISA, and Anitta are scheduled to perform at the ceremonies, which will take place in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Katy Perry will headline the opening ceremony in Los Angeles on June 12, prior to the U.S. men’s national team’s match against Paraguay. Future will also take the stage at SoFi Stadium, accompanied by DJ Sanjoy.
In Toronto, performers Michael Bublé and Alessia Cara are set to entertain fans ahead of Canada’s match against Bosnia & Herzegovina on June 12. The Athletic identified additional Canadian artists such as Jessie Reyez, Nora Fatehi, and William Prince who will participate, although their performance details have not been specified.
When Mexico opens the tournament on June 11 against South Africa, attendees at Azteca Stadium can expect a pregame performance by rock band Maná, along with Tyla and Los Ángeles Azules.
The opening ceremony will feature an impressive array of global talent, reportedly including J Balvin, Danny Ocean, Elyanna, and Marilina Bogado.
FIFA has yet to reveal the lineup for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show, scheduled for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
An official FIFA World Cup album is in the works, with Shakira teasing a reggaetón-Afrobeats collaboration with Burna Boy titled “Dai Dai,” set to be released alongside a music video on May 14.
