With a focus on exceptional artists worldwide, the launch consists of three initiatives: Digital Issue, Artist Book, and Magazine. These offerings aim to provide the international music market and global fans with a content experience that encapsulates industry value, artistic expression, and collectible significance.
The Digital Issue highlights emerging artists with creative potential, reflecting the forefront of youth music culture through adaptable formats. It serves as a “trend-making engine” for future pop. The Artist Book delves into the creative visions of popular and cross-disciplinary artists through poster-format art books that blend visuals, interviews, and creative content, functioning as a “musical inspiration handbook.” The Magazine concentrates on prominent artists at the intersection of music and fashion, establishing itself as China’s first “music industry fashion bible.”
The inaugural Artist Book cover features the seven members of SMTR25, SM Entertainment’s trainee group: SONGHA, HAMIN, DANIEL, HANBI, HYUNJUN, WOOLIN, and TATA. Under the theme “Spring Promise, Journey to the Future,” the cover captures youthful passion in an oversized, exhibition-grade format, merging high-fashion aesthetics with collectible value.
This photo shoot breaks from conventional idol imagery, revealing the growth journeys of the trainees. It documents the authentic stories of young men from diverse backgrounds pursuing their dreams in Seoul. The feature emphasizes their genuine, imperfect selves and conveys a steadfast commitment to their aspirations and camaraderie as they progress toward a shared future. Starting today, fans can collect this commemorative chronicle via QQ Music, Kugou Music, JOOX, and Billboard China’s official social platforms.
Looking ahead, Billboard China plans to leverage its professional expertise and global perspective to highlight high-caliber artists, identify emerging trends, and create diverse content that merges music culture with fashion aesthetics. The outlet remains dedicated to meeting fans’ demands for premium content experiences and collectibles, while promoting greater diversity, openness, and quality within the global music market.
