Actress Zoë Kravitz is turning heads with a stunning new engagement ring after reports emerged that musician Harry Styles proposed following eight months of dating. Jewelry expert Laura Taylor from Lorel Diamonds provided insights on the ring’s design and value.
Taylor, speaking to Us Weekly, described the ring as likely featuring an elongated cushion-cut diamond weighing between five to six carats, set in a smooth yellow gold bezel. “It appears to be very similar in size to the ring she previously wore from Channing Tatum, but with a slightly softer and less elongated shape,” she noted.
She added that the diamond seems noticeably brighter than Kravitz’s former engagement ring, suggesting it may be of higher quality. “The well-cut stone typically enhances the diamond’s brilliance,” Taylor explained.
Given Kravitz’s relationship with jeweler Jessica McCormack, there’s speculation that this engagement ring could be a custom creation from the brand. Taylor provided a ballpark estimate, indicating the ring could be worth up to $600,000, depending on various factors including the exact carat weight and the diamond’s characteristics.
Speculation about the couple’s engagement began earlier this month when Kravitz was spotted with a diamond ring on her left hand. On April 21, the two were seen strolling through London, with Styles leaning in to kiss her as he dropped her off at her hotel.

A source mentioned at the time that they shared a strong connection, describing them as “free-spirited people” who hit it off instantly. By December, insiders reported that the relationship had become serious, with Styles earning the approval of Zoë’s father, Lenny Kravitz. “Lenny says they really make each other happy and have an easy-going relationship, like best friends who are dating,” an insider remarked.
