Both actors are well-known for their roles as Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo on the acclaimed series Game of Thrones.
During her promotional visit for her new show, Ponies, Clarke, 39, was pleasantly surprised when Momoa, 46, unexpectedly visited her dressing room. In a photo shared by Clarke, she wore a long-sleeved black top with a matching skirt, while Momoa opted for brown pants, an olive vest, a top hat, and sunglasses. Their playful interactions included Clarke’s hashtags, “#mydragondaddy” and “#westillgotit 🔥,” a nod to their beloved characters.
Momoa responded affectionately in the comments, writing, “Love u Khalessi ❤️❤️❤️❤️ miss u,” using a beloved nickname for Clarke’s character. Fans quickly chimed in, reminiscing about the heartfelt terms of endearment used by their characters, with Drogo referring to Daenerys as “Moon of my life” and Daenerys calling him “Sun and Stars”.
This recent reunion marks a notable moment for the pair, who last interacted publicly in 2021 while celebrating an early birthday for Game of Thrones co-creator David Benioff. During that occasion, Clarke playfully remarked about their iconic roles, emphasizing the strong connection they share as friends and co-stars.
While Clarke was busy on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Momoa was also engaged in promotional activities in New York City for his upcoming film, The Wrecking Crew, appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
