Elias Voit Is Back in Season 19 of Criminal Minds: Evolution—Get a Sneak Peek at Connor Storrie and the New Killer Chase
Paramount+ has released the official trailer for Season 19 of Criminal Minds: Evolution, featuring Elias Voit, who returns to assist in tracking down a killer that idolizes him.
The trailer also offers a brief glimpse of Connor Storrie from Heated Rivalry, who will guest star in the upcoming season. Joining Storrie are notable guest stars Justin Kirk, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jeri Ryan, Clark Gregg, Paul F. Tompkins, Cress Williams, Kofi Siriboe, Dash Mihok, and Nicholas Gonzalez.
Season 18 explored themes around serial killers and sadistic psychopaths, prominently featuring Elias Voit, played by Zach Gilford. The storyline picked up six months after Voit was attacked by prisoners, prompting his increasingly restless followers on the dark web to unleash chaos across the country. To prevent further violence against innocents, the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) engaged in a high-stakes investigation, often navigating a “real-life game of Clue” as they worked alongside the unpredictable Voit, who seemingly had his own agenda.
According to the logline, Season 19 will see the elite profilers face unprecedented challenges. As the BAU investigates a series of chilling new cases, Elias Voit seeks redemption for his past actions. However, his rising notoriety inadvertently awakens their most formidable adversary yet, referred to as The Fan. This UnSub is described as precise, calculating, and dangerously relentless, pushing the BAU to their limits while operating in the shadow of Voit. The central question remains: how far will The Fan go to prove his superiority over his idol?
Criminal Minds: Evolution stars Joe Mantegna, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler, Zach Gilford, and RJ Hatanaka, along with Adam Rodriguez and Paget Brewster. The series follows the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit—a team tasked with analyzing and apprehending the country’s most dangerous criminals before they can strike again.
Produced by 20th Television and CBS Studios, Criminal Minds: Evolution is run by showrunner Erica Messer, with executive producers Breen Frazier, Chris Barbour, Glenn Kershaw, and Mark Gordon.
Season 19 of Criminal Minds: Evolution is set to premiere on May 28 on Paramount+.
