Key Information
- Home Alone celebrates its 35th anniversary this year.
- Disney+ has planned a range of festive activities in celebration.
- Fans can indulge in dining experiences at Little Nero’s, the fictional pizzeria featured in the film.
Home Alone is set to commemorate its 35th anniversary in 2025, and Disney+ is pulling out all the stops to allow fans to immerse themselves in the classic film, ensuring that no other “Kevins” end up home alone this holiday season.
From December 17-21, Disney+ will collaborate with CLEAR Activation at various airports across the United States. CLEAR+ members named Kevin who utilize CLEAR+ lanes during travel will receive a code for complimentary CLEAR Concierge service for future trips. Additionally, all other CLEAR members can collect Home Alone-themed ornaments at nine participating airports: ATL, DEN, EWR, JFK, LAX, LGA, MCO, ORD, and SEA.
The partnership with CLEAR offers a playful nod to the beloved film, written by John Hughes and directed by Chris Columbus, which catapulted Macaulay Culkin to stardom upon its release in November 1990.
Home Alone follows 8-year-old Kevin McCallister, portrayed by Culkin, as he is accidentally left behind by his parents, played by John Heard and Catherine O’Hara, during a family trip to Paris. In their absence, he valiantly defends his Chicago home against two bumbling thieves by setting a variety of clever traps.

Among the film’s memorable scenes is one involving Kevin’s local pizza delivery guy from the fictional Little Nero’s Pizzeria. To celebrate, from December 10-17, Little Nero’s will be brought to life through a collaboration with Prince Street Pizza in Los Angeles, transforming the location into a reimagined Little Nero’s Pizzeria adorned with special decor and branded elements.
During this activation, Prince Street will showcase Home Alone memorabilia, update signage and menus, and provide custom pizza boxes for fans. Various locations across the nation will also feature Little Nero’s pizza boxes and themed packaging, while pizzerias in Chicago and Toronto will incorporate similar decor.
In a festive highlight, Disney plans to attempt a Guinness World Record by constructing the world’s largest Gingerbread House themed around Home Alone. Weather permitting, the installation will be accessible to the public in the evenings of December 18 and 19 at Hollywood and Vine in Los Angeles.
Since the original film’s debut, its cast members have reconvened to celebrate significant anniversaries, and Culkin has revisited his character in different campaigns, including the “Home but Not Alone” holiday ad released in November 2025, reflecting on the movie’s legacy.
This year, Criterion Pictures and Standing Ovations LLC will host special anniversary screenings of Home Alone, titled A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin, across the country. After the screenings, Culkin will share personal insights and anecdotes from the film.
D23’s On the Road tour will also introduce interactive screenings of Home Alone in 19 cities nationwide, complete with themed activities and giveaways. Ticket details are available online.
The enduring popularity of Home Alone has led to a six-film franchise, with all titles currently available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu.
