Did Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Just Choose Their Wedding Bands?
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were spotted on a low-key outing at Casa Cipriani in New York City on April 17, sparking speculation about their wedding plans. The couple, both 36, arrived at the exclusive members-only venue shielded by a trio of black umbrellas, raising eyebrows among fans.
Joined by jeweler Kindred Lubeck, who designed Swift’s engagement ring, the engagement festivities hinted at potential preparations for their wedding. Lubeck shared a photo from inside the venue with Swift’s close friend, Ashley Avignone, further fueling rumors about the couple selecting wedding bands.
Fans quickly speculated about the meeting’s purpose, with one user on X stating, “Taylor and Travis meeting with Kindred for wedding bands you say, taywedding truly is imminent.” Another added, “Meeting with Kindred Lubeck under umbrellas? Wedding band era incoming!”
While the couple’s save-the-dates reportedly went out for a July 3 wedding in New York City, questions about their ceremony’s timing and location persist. While some had anticipated a wedding at Rhode Island’s Ocean House on June 13—a date associated with Swift’s preference for the number 13—a planner has publicly denied such a booking.
Kelce worked closely with Lubeck on the design of Swift’s engagement ring, a yellow gold band with intricate hand-engraved detailing. Gem experts estimate the ring’s value could reach up to $1 million. Recently, Lubeck launched her bridal line, Artifex Bridal, which debuted on April 10.
As the clock ticks towards their expected wedding date, it remains unclear whether Swift and Kelce walked out of Casa Cipriani with wedding bands that evening.
