Deadline Introduces Its New Contenders Streaming Service for TV Fans
A total of 29 panels from 15 networks and streaming services participated in a two-day live event at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles over the weekend. The event brought together the creative teams behind various television shows for in-depth discussions in front of an audience comprised of TV Academy and guild voters.
Event Highlights
The lineup featured a diverse range of shows, including ABC’s Scrubs and Abbott Elementary; AMC/AMC+’s The Audacity; multiple titles from Apple TV such as Pluribus, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, and Shrinking; CBS’ Elsbeth; Disney+’s Wonder Man; Fox’s Fear Factor: House of Fear; and HBO Max’s Task, Industry, and Half Man. Additional shows included Hulu’s The Testaments, Paradise, Chad Powers, and The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox; NBC/Universal Television’s Saturday Night Live; Paramount+’s Landman; Peacock’s Ted and Love Island USA; Prime Video’s The Boys, Bait, Fallout, Spider-Noir, The Night Manager, Young Sherlock, and Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat; and Warner Bros Television’s Running Point and IT: Welcome to Derry.
The panels featured prominent figures from the television industry, including Billy Bob Thornton, Andy Garcia, Rhea Seehorn, Sam Elliott, Chase Infiniti, Tom Hiddleston, and Kit Harington. The event also attracted a slew of other stars, such as Mindy Kaling, Quinta Brunson, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, reflecting the broad appeal and talent within the current television landscape.
