Dan Stevens Faces a Challenging Reality in the Terrifying Mental Hospital of The Terror: Devil In Silver Trailer for Season 3
AMC+ and Shudder have released the trailer for *The Terror: Devil in Silver*, set to premiere on May 7. This latest installment of the AMC anthology series is based on Victor LaValle’s novel.
In this new series, Dan Stevens stars as Pepper, a working-class moving man whose unfortunate circumstances lead to his wrongful commitment at New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital. The institution serves as a grim setting filled with patients abandoned by society. As Pepper confronts antagonistic fellow patients and doctors with dark secrets, he may even encounter the Devil himself. The narrative explores the mental and moral challenges he faces as he seeks freedom and confronts the true nature of his inner demons.
The trailer features a dramatic moment when Pepper, portrayed by Stevens, is forcibly taken away by police after a confrontation. “Is this a hospital?” he inquires while handcuffed, to which an officer responds, “Kind of.” Thus begins a descent into terror.
