Dacre Montgomery Talks About His Excitement for the Upcoming Stranger Things Series Finale

Dacre Montgomery Reflects on ‘Stranger Things’ Finale and His Upcoming Role in ‘Dead Man’s Wire’
Dacre Montgomery, best known for his role as Billy Hargrove in Netflix’s Stranger Things, expressed enthusiasm for the series finale set to air on December 31. Speaking at a screening of his new film, Dead Man’s Wire, on December 10 in New York City, the 31-year-old actor opened up about the significance of the show and his anticipation for the last chapter.
"Fans have had a huge impact on my life and career," Montgomery remarked, noting that being part of Stranger Things has shaped his identity as an actor. "It’s been everything to me and is such an amazing experience."
The actor’s excitement extends beyond the finale itself. He looks forward to the new projects from the Duffer Brothers, the co-creators of Stranger Things. "Now that they are done with the show, they have so many other amazing ideas that I’m excited about," he said. "If people love Stranger Things, imagine what else they can do."
Among the upcoming projects by the Duffer Brothers are two new Netflix series. The Boroughs, starring Geena Davis, is described as a supernatural mystery set in a retirement community, while Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen features Camila Morrone and Adam DiMarco, focusing on a doomed wedding.

In addition to his reflections on Stranger Things, Montgomery is preparing for the release of Dead Man’s Wire. The film, which premieres in theaters on January 9, tells the true story of a 1977 kidnapping of a prominent banker and stars a talented ensemble including Bill Skarsgård, Colman Domingo, Myha’la, and Al Pacino.
