Career Criminal Arrested During Traffic Stop with Stolen Packages
A man described as a "career criminal" is in custody following a traffic stop in Culver City early Saturday morning, where authorities discovered multiple stolen packages in his vehicle.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., police stopped the motorist near Slauson Avenue and Buckingham Parkway for a hazardous traffic violation. During a search of the vehicle, officers found several stolen mail packages addressed to residents in Culver City.
According to the Culver City Police Department, the driver was arrested on charges of burglary and held for probation violations. In a statement, officials expressed their intent to reunite local residents with their packages in time for the holiday season.
