Christina Aguilera Shares Her Daughter’s Love for the Natural Look and Freckles
Christina Aguilera Reflects on Family Life and Personal Preferences
Christina Aguilera recently shared insights about her family dynamics, revealing that her daughter, Summer, prefers her without makeup. During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on December 9, the 44-year-old singer emphasized the value of embracing her natural beauty.
Aguilera mentioned that both of her children, 17-year-old Max and 10-year-old Summer, play a crucial role in keeping her grounded. "They see every side of me," she noted, highlighting how their perspectives enrich her own. While Summer enjoys the "no-makeup mama" version of Aguilera, Max presents a different challenge. "It’s tough with kids in general," Aguilera admitted, adding that earning "cool mom points" with him has proven more difficult.
Speaking fondly about Summer, Aguilera remarked, "As soon as I’m done shooting or whatever, she’s like, ‘Okay can you take that off? Now it’s time to be cozy.’" She also revealed that Summer appreciates her freckles, saying, "She loves my freckles, and I cover them a lot, but she just loves mama’s freckles."

Aside from the personal aspect, Aguilera expressed pride in Summer’s artistic talents, noting her daughter’s creativity in painting, drawing, and crafting. "She has taken an interest in acting, so she’s had a few lessons," Aguilera said, emphasizing her support for whatever path Summer chooses.
In contrast, Aguilera’s relationship with her son Max is marked by a different dynamic. "They will call you out for anything and everything," she said, recalling her own experiences of being a teenager. Despite the challenges, Aguilera acknowledges that her life experiences could lend wisdom to her parenting.
Aguilera, who recently performed atop the Eiffel Tower for her concert film Christina Aguilera: Christmas in Paris, admitted that the experience was less than enjoyable due to her fear of heights. "I am terrified of heights," she shared, adding that such performances serve as a reminder of her resilience in both her personal and professional life.
The film is set to be screened in theaters on December 14 and December 21, showcasing Aguilera’s journey through the holiday season.
