Catch Dennis Ferrer’s Full Set from Time Warp USA 2025: Everyone Just Wanted to Dance
Trending on Billboard
The renowned house and techno festival Time Warp returned to New York City last month, taking place on November 21-22 at Brooklyn Storehouse. This year’s lineup featured prominent artists such as Sven Väth, The Blessed Madonna, Mike Servito, Sara Landry, and Nico Moreno. Notably, New York house legend Dennis Ferrer made his festival debut after decades in the music scene.
“Finally popped my Time Warp cherry and it was beyond impressive!” Ferrer told Billboard. “The production, the energy, but most of all, the crowd that was dancing rather than filming. One of the highlights of 2025 for sure!”
Ferrer is now sharing his 90-minute set from Time Warp USA 2025 exclusively with Billboard. The set showcases why the audience kept their phones tucked away. Although originally slated to perform alongside fellow house artist Kerri Chandler, Ferrer took the stage solo after Chandler had to withdraw, delivering an hour and a half of vibrant, groovy house music.
Highlights from the set include As I Am’s smooth 2014 track “Saving Grace” from Defected Records, Riva Starr’s upbeat 2025 release “Unique,” and Ian Pooley’s classic “Fly Shuffle” from 2002. The entire set can be listened to exclusively below.
Rob Toma, founder of Tekksupport, recalled Time Warp founder Steffen Charles initially expressing doubt about hosting an event in New York, saying, “I’ll never do New York. America is not ready.” However, after several years of discussions, Toma succeeded in convincing Charles and his team to expand to the U.S., resulting in Time Warp’s New York debut in 2014.
As with previous editions, Time Warp USA 2025 was produced in partnership with Teksupport. Time Warp events also occur in various cities around the globe, including Miami, Madrid, and São Paulo.
