Brooks Nader Opens Up About Ditching Fillers and Embracing Her True Self at 18
Brooks Nader Embraces Natural Beauty After Dissolving Filler
Brooks Nader is redefining her beauty standards, opting for a more natural look. During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, the 28-year-old model candidly discussed her decision to dissolve her facial filler. This announcement came as she participated in the launch of her collaboration with John Frieda in New York City on February 12.
“I honestly felt really good about it, because I feel like I get a lot of the comments that are like, ‘You look 40, you look 40, you look 40,’” Nader shared, chuckling at the perception. “I’m like, ‘What? I don’t want to be 40.’” She expressed surprise at the positive feedback she received post-dissolution, with many saying she finally appeared her actual age. Notably, her parents, Breaux Nader and Holland Greene Nader, commented that she no longer looked “blown up.”
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model revealed that her journey with cosmetic enhancements began at the young age of 18. “When I was 18 and I moved to New York, I was like, ‘I’m gonna get filler. I’m gonna do all these treatments, I’m gonna get lipo, whatever it is,’” she recounted. Nader recalled her parents giving her $1,000 to spend on beauty treatments, which she then used to collaborate with dermatologists to achieve her desired look. “I felt like it was what everyone was doing,” she noted, reflecting on her initial pursuit of perfection in Hollywood.
Nader has since removed filler from her cheeks, jaw, and lips, stating, “We’re back to square one,” and expressing joy in rediscovering her “true, authentic self.” When asked if she might consider filler again in the future, she remained open to the possibility, asserting, “I never say never to anything because if I age, you never know. For right now, I’m loving my smile and how I’m looking. I feel like I’m looking like my old self again.”
The model also emphasized her commitment to transparency with her audience regarding her beauty journey. “I always plan to keep an open line of communication with [my] audience about what I’m doing to maintain my glow,” she affirmed.
In her collaboration with John Frieda, Nader expressed a deep connection to the brand, noting that it has been a staple in her household for years. “I have a history with the brand, and I think that the new technology has something for everyone,” she added, highlighting the influence her mother’s beauty routines had on her own.
