Billy Bob Thornton and Ariana Greenblatt to Star in ‘Somedays’
Billy Bob Thornton and Ariana Greenblatt are set to headline Somedays, a feature film directed and written by Brian Klugman. The project is being financed and produced by Tucker Tooley Entertainment, alongside partners Streamline Global, Eighteen 88, and Three Point Capital.
The film centers on a weary delivery driver, facing limited time left to live, who unexpectedly saves a brilliant yet troubled teenage girl. Their bond blooms into a transformative relationship, offering both a fresh perspective on life.
Production also includes Andrew Panay and Jennifer Gibgot from Ethea Entertainment, as well as Geyer Kosinski from Media Talent Group. Executive producers for the film include Greg Renker and Gregoire Gensollen of Tooley Entertainment, along with Klugman, Philip Waley, Molly Conners, Amanda Bowers, Andrea Bucko, and Nate Tuck representing Ethea.
Brian Klugman, known for co-creating the story for Disney’s Tron: Legacy, made his feature directorial debut in 2012 with The Words, starring Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, and Jeremy Irons. His filmography also features the indie film Baby, Baby, Baby from 2015.
Currently, Thornton stars in Landman, which is airing its second season on Paramount+ and has garnered him Golden Globe and Critics Choice nominations. Greenblatt recently appeared in Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, with additional credits that include Barbie and Avengers: Infinity War.
Thornton is represented by WME, Media Talent Group, and Myman/Greenspan, while Greenblatt is represented by CAA, Untitled Entertainment, and Jackoway Austen.
