Fans of Billie Eilish who attended her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour can now relive the exhilarating atmosphere of the concert’s opening moments. Eilish has released the intro music for streaming, allowing fans to experience the adrenaline that filled the arenas before her performance.
On April 24, Eilish dropped “Intro (Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour),” a powerful cinematic instrumental that set the tone for her shows worldwide. Co-created with her brother and longtime collaborator Finneas, the track incorporates snippets from “The Greatest,” a highlight from her acclaimed 2024 album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, which recently debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
This release precedes her upcoming 3D concert film, co-directed by James Cameron of Avatar fame. Scheduled to hit theaters on May 8, the film will showcase both live concert footage and behind-the-scenes content. Earlier this month, Eilish told Fandango, “If you go see this movie, it’s like the equivalent of going to the show.”
The nine-time Grammy winner’s tour encompasses 106 shows across 2024 and 2025 in support of her third studio album. She initially hinted at the concert film during a Manchester performance in July of the previous year, stating, “You may have noticed there’s more cameras than usual here… I can’t say much about it, but I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it’s gonna be in 3D.”
