Berlin Season 2: New Title, Release Date, and Sneak Peeks Revealed
Money Heist spin-off Berlin has officially been retitled to Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine.
The highly anticipated second season of Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato’s popular Netflix series is set to premiere on May 15, accompanied by new promotional images.
This upcoming season, now with its new title, expands on the narratives established in Money Heist and Berlin. Set in Seville, it revolves around a master heist involving the stolen Lady with an Ermine. However, the real objective for Berlin and Damián is to target the Duke of Málaga and his wife, who mistakenly believe they can manipulate Berlin. Unbeknownst to them, this scheme will unearth Berlin’s darker instincts and his desire for revenge.
Money Heist remains one of Netflix’s most acclaimed non-English-language series, a success that Berlin has effectively mirrored. Pina and Martínez Lobato have also recently unveiled a new title, Netflix’s Billionaires’ Bunker, described by Pina as an “amalgamation of soap opera, black comedy, jail drama and thriller.”
