The cast of The Night Manager may be embroiled in espionage on-screen, but off-screen, they’re enjoying romantic relationships.
Nearly a decade following its initial release, the acclaimed spy thriller, adapted from John le Carré’s novel, returns with new episodes featuring Tom Hiddleston as Jonathan Pine.
Joining Hiddleston are familiar faces from Season 1, including Olivia Colman, Hugh Laurie, and Elizabeth Debicki, alongside newcomers Diego Calva, Camila Morrone, and Indira Varma.
As the series unfolds, characters engage in seduction as a tactic to extract secrets, a concept Hiddleston discussed with USA Today in January 2026.
“Spies deal in secrets and lies, seduction and betrayal, and where is the truth?” he stated, referencing le Carré’s exploration of intimacy in espionage. “If you want to know the truth, you have to get close to people and earn their trust. And if you want to win people’s trust, you have to seduce them. But you’re playing with fire.”
While the world of The Night Manager is rife with danger and intrigue, the cast off-screen appear to have embraced stable, long-term relationships. Here’s a look at the romantic lives of the cast.

Hiddleston plays the role of Jonathan Pine, a former soldier turned undercover agent. He first met Zawe Ashton while acting as a married couple in the 2019 London production of Betrayal.
The couple sparked dating rumors in August 2021 when they were spotted together at the US Open, making their public debut at the Tony Awards the following month. They became engaged in March 2022 and welcomed their first child in October 2022.
In a December 2025 interview with British GQ, Hiddleston revealed that he and Ashton welcomed their second child.

Colman portrays Angela Burr, an intelligence officer and confidante to Pine. She has been married to Ed Sinclair since 2001. The couple met while students at Cambridge in the 1990s.
Colman described their first meeting as “love at first sight,” recalling, “He walked in and it was like a thunderbolt. I thought, ‘There’s the bloke I’m going to marry.'” They share three children: sons Hall and Finn, and a daughter, whom she was pregnant with during the first season of The Night Manager.
“It’s been lovely going back to Angela Burr after nine years,” Colman noted, reflecting on her return to the role. “I know it’s nine years because I was very pregnant the last time round and that baby bump is now nine years old!”
Sinclair, a screenwriter and producer, has collaborated with Colman on various projects, including the series Landscapers and the film Wicked Little Letters.

As Sandy Langbourne, Petrie’s character serves as a key ally to Richard Roper. Outside of work, he is married to Lucy Scott, who is known for her role as Charlotte Lucas in the 1995 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.
The couple has three sons: Angus, Cal, and Brodie. Petrie expressed pride in their parenting, stating, “In amongst the crash bang of this industry, we raised three well-adjusted, decent human beings.” He credits their success as parents to their teamwork.

Camila Morrone, a newcomer in The Night Manager, plays Roxana Bolaños, a businesswoman aiding Pine. She became romantically linked with Cole Bennett in July 2024, after they were seen shopping together in New York City.
In May 2025, Morrone confirmed their relationship on Instagram, sharing a photo of Bennett along with a heartfelt birthday message.

Indira Varma is new to the cast of The Night Manager in Season 2, portraying Mayra Cavendish. She is married to actor Colin Tierney, whom she met during a production of Othello in 1997. The couple shares a daughter.
In a 2024 interview, Varma cited her family as her greatest accomplishment, stating, “Having a family and still loving each other.”
