Barry Manilow Postpones Las Vegas Shows for Health Reasons
Barry Manilow has announced the postponement of his February Las Vegas residency shows at the recommendation of his doctors. The singer, known for hits such as "Copacabana," will reschedule his concerts originally set for February 12-21 at the Westgate Las Vegas as he focuses on his health.
In a statement shared via Instagram on February 4, Manilow said, “We have decided to postpone my residency… so I can stay focused on healing and getting ready for the tour.” This decision follows his recent treatment for a cancerous spot found in his left lung, which he revealed in late December.
At 82 years old, Manilow is committed to ensuring a full recovery before embarking on his extensive 2026 farewell tour. He noted, “I’m doing great and recovering very well after my surgery. I’ve been getting exercise and spending some time in the studio, which has been fantastic.” However, he emphasized the need to postpone his upcoming shows for additional rest. “Having a few weeks to rest and prepare is what the doctor ordered!” he stated.
Fans have been expressing their support on social media, sending messages of encouragement and well-wishes. One fan wrote, “Get well soon ❤️,” while another added, “Take all the time you need. We will always be here for you! Continued prayers and hugs. ❤️”
Tickets for the postponed Las Vegas shows will be fully refundable at the point of purchase. Manilow is scheduled to resume his performances on February 27 in Tampa, Florida, at the Benchmark International Arena, continuing through the end of April before his final tour show in Duluth, Georgia, at the Gas South Arena.
Following his arena tour, Manilow is slated to return to Las Vegas for a series of shows from March 26-28 at the Westgate.
