LOS ANGELES – Authorities are actively searching for a suspect connected to a car-to-car shooting and police chase that occurred in Reseda early Tuesday morning.
The incident began shortly after 5 a.m. when officers from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) identified a vehicle linked to a shooting and initiated a brief pursuit. The chase concluded in the 19200 block of Calvert Street in the Tarzana neighborhood, where the driver abandoned the car and fled on foot into the surrounding area.
Following the shooting, one person self-transported to a local hospital for treatment. However, details regarding their current medical condition have not been disclosed.
Police have established a perimeter on Calvert Street as they continue their efforts to locate the suspect. At this time, authorities have not released a detailed physical description of the individual involved in the incident.
