Andrew Scott Joins Emily Blunt in Netflix’s ‘Walk The Blue Fields’
Filmmaker John Crowley, known for his work on Brooklyn, will direct the upcoming film Walk the Blue Fields in Ireland. The screenplay is penned by Conor McPherson, a distinguished playwright and screenwriter with multiple Tony nominations.
The narrative centers on a woman grappling with a profound decision on her wedding day as a past love triangle threatens to resurface.

Denis O’Sullivan and Jeff Kalligheri of Compelling Pictures will produce and finance the project. Actress Emily Blunt will also produce through her venture, Ledbury Productions, alongside Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe from the Fremantle Company. Executive producers include Ori Allon, Matthew Gallagher, Dennis Casali, Steven Garcia, John Crowley, Conor McPherson, Claire Keegan, and Edmund Sampson.
Actor Scott is currently making waves following his performance in the Oscar-nominated film Blue Moon alongside Ethan Hawke, as well as in the latest installment of the Knives Out series, titled Wake Up Dead Man. He is set to appear next in the World War II drama Pressure, as well as in the MRC film A Place in Hell and Elsinore.
