Amy Schumer is preparing for New Year’s Eve as a newly single woman. Just hours before the countdown, the 44-year-old actress, known for her role in Kinda Pregnant, provided her followers with a sneak peek of her evening through two Instagram posts.
“Happy New Year! #sensualphoto,” she wrote alongside a post on December 31.
In the photo, Schumer is seen lounging alone on a sofa in a dimly lit room. She wore a loose T-shirt beneath a black hoodie, her hair pulled back in a ponytail, and appeared makeup-free. The actress humorously crossed her eyes while holding a container of spaghetti.

She shared the same image in her Instagram Stories, adding the text, “Who’s kissing this at midnight?”
On December 12, the Trainwreck actress officially announced her split from Chris Fischer, stating online that the couple had called it quits after seven years of marriage. Schumer’s message, now deleted, included: “Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years. We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.”
A source close to the former couple later assured that, “There’s nothing ugly. It’s a cohesive split. They’ve just been finalizing a few things.” Schumer and Fischer, who were married in February 2018, welcomed their son, Gene, in May 2019.
In the months leading to their divorce announcement, Schumer had previously showcased a significant weight loss transformation in October.

Recently, Schumer shared a makeup-free selfie on December 29, showcasing her natural look and a form-fitting bodysuit with the caption, “@skims lyfe.”
As she navigates this new chapter, Schumer also sold the Brooklyn townhouse she once shared with Fischer. Initially listed for $14 million in March, the property sold for $11 million in late November.
