American Music Awards to Celebrate Memorial Day with Live Show from MGM Grand in Las Vegas
The American Music Awards (AMAs) is set to relocate for its 52nd edition, with CBS and Dick Clark Productions announcing that the event will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The 2026 AMAs will air live on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT, marking the first time the awards show will be held at this venue. Fans can tune in on CBS and stream live and on demand via Paramount+.
In a significant development, CBS signed a new five-year contract with Dick Clark Productions last year, ensuring that the AMAs will continue to be broadcast on CBS and available for streaming on Paramount+ beginning with the 2026 ceremony.
Founded by producer Dick Clark and first held in 1974, the AMAs honor the year’s top music achievements as determined by fan votes. Nominations for this year’s awards will be announced on Tuesday, April 14. Further details regarding performers, presenters, special honorees, and ticket sales are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
