Amber Alert in Southern California for Missing 3-Year-Old Child
Amber Alert Issued for Missing Man and Child in Southern California
An Amber Alert has been activated for Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties following the disappearance of a 38-year-old man and a three-year-old child. Joshua Pendleton and Messiah Evans were last seen on Monday night at approximately 10 p.m. at the intersection of 66th Street and Normandy Avenue in Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol issued the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department, indicating that Pendleton is believed to have abducted the child.
Pendleton is described as a Black male, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing around 265 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes. Messiah Evans is identified as a Black child, approximately 3 feet tall and weighing 50 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. At the time of their disappearance, Messiah was wearing a burgundy onesie.
Authorities reported that Pendleton may be driving a white 2006 Saturn VUE, with the license plate number 5SHE918.
Members of the public who have any information regarding the whereabouts of Joshua Pendleton and Messiah Evans are urged to call 911.
