Amazon Books Returns to Beacon Theatre in New York for May Presentation
Amazon is set to host its annual upfront presentation for advertisers at New York’s Beacon Theatre on Monday, May 11. This marks the company’s return to a venue it utilized last year, continuing its tradition of showcasing advertising opportunities.
The timing coincides with the first night of a series of major upfront events, a schedule announced by Amazon during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Last year, Amazon hosted ad buyers at the Beacon Theatre, marking its third major upfront since introducing ads on Prime Video programming in early 2024. Prior to this, Amazon held presentations as part of the NewFronts, focusing on digital-only ad pitches in the spring.
This year’s upfront will showcase programming from various divisions, including Prime Video, Prime Sports, Amazon MGM Studios, Twitch, Wondery, and Amazon Music. The company plans to highlight innovations aimed at helping brands connect with its substantial audience, estimated at over 300 million monthly viewers in the U.S. across Amazon-owned platforms and third-party suppliers.

Amazon’s announcement comes as NBCUniversal and Fox Corp. also prepare events for May 11, while Warner Bros. Discovery is set to present on May 13. Other prominent players, such as Disney, YouTube, Netflix, and TelevisaUnivision, have yet to confirm their plans for the week.
“Brands are seeking premium content, supported by advertising solutions that are simpler, faster, and performance-driven,” stated Alan Moss, Vice President of Global Ad Sales at Amazon Ads. “By pairing Amazon’s incredible content portfolio with authenticated audience signals and dynamic creative capabilities, we’re helping advertisers deliver more relevant messages to consumers across the full funnel—while driving best-in-class performance and business impact.”
For those unable to attend the event in person, Amazon Ads will provide a virtual viewing option, with further details to be released later.
