Alyvia Alyn Lind Joins FX Limited Series ‘Cry Wolf’ along with Another Talented Actor
Alyvia Alyn Lind Joins Star-Studded Cast in FX’s ‘Cry Wolf’
Alyvia Alyn Lind has secured a leading role in FX’s limited series "Cry Wolf," alongside acclaimed actors Olivia Colman, Brie Larson, and Shawn Hatosy. The series is created by Sarah Treem.
Based on the Danish drama "Ulven Kommer," created by Maja Jul Larsen, "Cry Wolf" is a psychological thriller that centers on a social worker, Kath (Colman), and a mother, April (Larson). Their lives spiral into turmoil when April’s teenage daughter, Mia (Lind), accuses someone of abuse, pushing the two women to their limits as they confront a challenging and emotional situation.
Hatosy portrays April’s husband, who becomes embroiled in the allegations surrounding Mia. Child actor Jack Greig joins the cast as April’s son.
Produced by FX Productions, "Cry Wolf" is executive produced by Treem, who also serves as showrunner, alongside Colman through her South of the River Pictures, and Melissa Bernstein of Special Interests. Larson is also an executive producer.
Lind recently appeared in Netflix’s psychological thriller "Wayward," and has played significant roles in the Syfy horror series "Chucky," Roku’s "The Spiderwick Chronicles," and Netflix’s "Daybreak." Additionally, she portrayed Dolly Parton in the NBC films "Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors" and its sequel, which earned her a Critics Choice Award nomination.
Her feature film credits include "Blended," "Overboard," and "Masquerade." Lind is represented by CAA and Brecheen Feldman Breimer Silver Thompson.
Meanwhile, Greig’s future projects feature roles in the series "The Copenhagen Test" and the films "The Pond," "Heart of the South," and "Father of Us." He is represented by DiCaro Talent Management.
