Aldis Hodge Looks for Justice in the Season 2 Trailer of ‘Cross’
Prime Video Unveils Official Trailer for Season 2 of Cross
Prime Video has released the official trailer for the highly anticipated second season of its crime drama Cross, which is set to premiere on February 11. The series stars Aldis Hodge as Detective Alex Cross, a homicide detective and forensic psychologist.
"I want justice!" declares Hodge’s character in the gripping trailer, which hints at a dramatic shift in the storyline as a manhunt for a ruthless vigilante takes a surprising turn.
Created, showrun, and written by Ben Watkins, Cross is based on the popular Alex Cross book series by James Patterson.
The new season will feature the first three episodes released on February 11, with subsequent episodes airing weekly, culminating in a season finale on March 18.
Joining Hodge this season are newcomers Matthew Lillard, Jeanine Mason, and Wes Chatham, alongside returning cast members Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, and Johnny Ray Gill.
In this season, Cross finds himself in pursuit of a vigilante targeting corrupt billionaire magnates, adding a new layer of complexity to the narrative.
Notably, viewers can catch a brief appearance by Watkins in the teaser, where he tells Cross, "If anyone hears this, you’re done."
Cross is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Paramount Television Studios, with an executive production team that includes Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, J. David Shanks, Aiyana White, Craig Siebels, Owen Shiflett, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, and Patrick Santa.
