A24 Reports Charli XCX’s ‘The Moment’ is Their Quickest-Selling Limited Release; Q&A Tickets Available on Reddit
A24 has announced that Charli XCX’s feature film, The Moment, has achieved the distinction of being its fastest-selling film during a limited release, following a successful debut screening at the Sundance Film Festival.
The indie studio reported that over 50 screenings of The Moment have sold out in key markets. Additionally, tickets for a special screening and Q&A session with Charli XCX and director Aidan Zamiri, set to be livestreamed from Alamo venues in Brooklyn, are sold out and being resold on various online platforms. Enthusiasts have even created multiple Reddit forums dedicated to ticket sales for the film.
A24 further noted that more than 70% of premium large-format screenings are currently sold out, with the majority of ticket purchasers being under 35 years old.

The Moment premiered last week at Sundance, directed by Aidan Zamiri from a screenplay co-written with Bertie Brandes. The film, which is based on an original idea by Charli XCX, follows a rising pop star as she navigates the challenges of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena tour debut.
The film features a talented ensemble cast that includes Kylie Jenner, Rachel Sennott, Kate Berlant, Alexander Skarsgård, Rosanna Arquette, Jamie Demetriou, Arielle Dombasle, Hailey Benton Gates, Trew Mullen, Mel Ottenberg, Richard Perez, Isaac Powell, Rish Shah, Tish Weinstock, Michael Workéyè, Shygirl, and A.G. Cook.
Charli XCX also served as a producer for The Moment under her Studio365 label, alongside David Hinojosa. Executive producers include Brandon Creed, Mikey Schwartz-Wright, and Zach Nutman.
The film is set to open in a limited release in New York and Los Angeles this weekend, with a wide release scheduled for February 6.
