NEED TO KNOW
- Darby Cerbo has amassed a TikTok following of over 130,000 by offering glimpses into her life with three distinct jobs.
- Her roles include working as an ER nurse practitioner, serving as the medical director at a med spa, and managing social media for the Arizona Cardinals cheerleading team.
- A former NFL cheerleader herself, Cerbo attributes her successful time management to effective sleep habits, a detailed calendar, and focusing on the present.
On any given day, Darby Cerbo can be found juggling her diverse responsibilities across three different workplaces. Whether she’s in a hospital emergency room, at a med spa, or on the field of an NFL stadium, Cerbo manages a busy schedule that requires constant transitions.
At 33, Cerbo has gained a significant online following, sharing insights into her day-to-day experiences. With a dedicated audience of over 100,000 followers on TikTok, she has turned her social media presence into a quasi-professional endeavor.
Cerbo combines her role as a medical director at a med spa, where she administers injectable cosmetic treatments, with her work as an ER nurse practitioner and her position overseeing the Arizona Cardinals cheerleading team’s social media. She notes that balancing these responsibilities has come naturally to her.

Reflecting on her work ethic, Cerbo states, “I feel like I’ve always been really cognizant of being a really, really good employee. If I’m going to do multiple things, I want to put 130 percent into it.”
Cerbo’s journey in nursing began after her graduation in 2014. She later joined the Cardinals as a cheerleader from 2016 to 2021 before transitioning to her current role in digital content curation.
Her position at the med spa arose from her fascination with aesthetics. Despite her enthusiasm for spa treatments, her passion for emergency care remains strong. This allowed her to find a unique opportunity that bridges both interests.
In Arizona, legal requirements mandate that med spas have either a physician or nurse as a medical director. When her friends planned to open a med spa, they recognized Cerbo as an ideal candidate to take on that role.
Every week brings unique challenges, and Cerbo admits, “my days and weeks drastically vary.” She sometimes manages to work all three positions in just one day.
She recounts an example from a recent Saturday, stating, “I worked at my hospital job until 2:00 [a.m.] into Sunday, and then we had game day on Sunday. So, I went to the game a few hours after my shift ended to do [the Cardinals’] game day.”

While the financial benefits of her multi-hyphenate lifestyle cannot be overlooked, Cerbo emphasizes that her motivation is not primarily driven by income. “There is 100 percent a financial benefit to it, but that’s 0 percent my driving factor at all,” she explains. “My nurse practitioner job would have me be more than fine; I just really enjoy doing lots of different things.”
To maintain her schedule while ensuring happiness, Cerbo employs a strategy of intentional organization. She carefully manages her calendar and prioritizes good sleep. During her work hours, she remains focused on the present moment.
“I take it day by day and in short increments,” she shares. “I’m not thinking about, ‘Oh gosh, I have so many things to do in two weeks,’ because that’ll just completely overwhelm me,” Cerbo explains. She has a clear grasp of her weekly commitments, allowing her to concentrate on immediate tasks without becoming anxious about future responsibilities.
