This holiday season, Keith Urban is giving back to the community. Earlier this week, the 58-year-old country star visited Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville. During his visit, Urban engaged with patients and their families, leading an acoustic sing-along and donating guitars to enhance the hospital’s music therapy program.
While at the hospital’s Seacrest Studios, Urban also answered fan questions and took photos, important moments for both patients and their families. Dr. Meg Rush expressed gratitude for Urban’s visit, stating that the staff is “truly grateful” for his generous time and efforts.

“Keith is a wonderful friend to our hospital with several visits over the years,” added Rush. His donation of guitars will support the music therapy program, which employs board-certified therapists to provide emotional support, manage pain and anxiety, and promote overall well-being for children and families during their hospital stays.
