Silo Season 3 Release Date Announced Along with Teaser and First-Look Photos
Apple TV has unveiled the first trailer and a collection of first-look images for the upcoming third season of its acclaimed series, Silo. The 10-episode season is set to premiere on July 3, with new episodes released weekly every Friday until September 4.
In the trailer, Rebecca Ferguson, who portrays Juliette, reflects on the series’ existential themes: “Before we can know why we’re here. Before we can know everything is as it is. Before we know how it all will end, we need to understand how it all began.”
Created by Graham Yost and based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy, Season 3 delves deeper into the dystopian world where 10,000 people live underground under mysterious conditions. This season seeks to unveil the origin story, set centuries prior to the present narrative. Juliette, having survived her forced "cleaning," faces memory loss as the silo grapples with the aftermath of rebellion and a new, looming threat. Concurrently, in the "Before Times," journalist Helen Drew, played by Jessica Henwick, and Congressman Daniel Keene, portrayed by Ashley Zukerman, expose a conspiracy that spirals into events with catastrophic, irreversible outcomes.
Returning cast members alongside Ferguson include Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Rick Gomez, Billy Postlethwaite, and Clare Perkins. Zukerman and Henwick, who appeared in the season two finale, are joined in the cast by Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Morven Christie, Reed Birney, and Matt Craven, with Colin Hanks set to make recurring appearances. Steve Zahn will also reprise his role.
Silo was confirmed for both a third and a final fourth season in December 2024. The series is produced by Apple Studios, with executive producers including Yost, Michael Dinner, Nina Jack, Joanna Thapa, Ferguson, Morten Tyldum, Howey, Amber Templemore, Fred Golan, Rémi Aubuchon, and AMC Studios.
