New Snowfall Spinoff Welcomes Isidora Goreshter, Mykelti Williamson, Brandon Mychal Smith, and Nicki Micheaux to Its Cast
EXCLUSIVE: FX has finalized the cast for its untitled spinoff of the acclaimed series Snowfall, adding nine actors in recurring roles. Among the newcomers are Isidora Goreshter (Shameless), Mykelti Williamson (The Last Rodeo), Brandon Mychal Smith (You’re The Worst), and Nicki Micheaux (Night Patrol). They will join Eric Balfour (The Offer), Richard Portnow (EZ Street), Zaire Adams (Trap House), Demetrius Grosse (Banshee), and original cast member Quincy Chad (Snowfall). The new series, set in 1990s Los Angeles, follows Wanda (Bean) and Leon (John) as they navigate the complex landscape of West Coast rap, aiming to make it mainstream amid rampant gang violence and the commercialization of hip hop culture by record labels.
Also previously announced, actors Asante Blackk, Peyton Alex Smith, and Simmie Sims III will star in the spinoff.
The untitled Snowfall spinoff is executive produced by Malcolm Spellman, Dave Andron, Thomas Schlamme, Julie DeJoie, Michael London, Trevor Engelson, and Paul Garnes, with production by FX Productions.
