Raquelle David Starts Her Own Management and Production Company, New Story
EXCLUSIVE: Raquelle David has announced the launch of New Story, a management and production company dedicated to creating bold, filmmaker-driven content with a global perspective.
An Australian native, David brings nearly two decades of international experience in independent film and television. She began her career in Australia and Canada before moving into literary management, where she gained recognition for her ability to identify and promote distinctive voices across both television and film. David will continue her work out of Los Angeles.
Her client roster includes notable talents such as Grayson Moore (Cardinals), Perry Blackshear (They Look Like People), Aislinn Clarke (Fréwaka), and Kathy Charles (Jakob’s Wife). Other clients include Brandon Espy (Hulu’s Mr. Crocket), Adam J. Graves (Netflix’s Anuja), Amos Mac (HBO’s Gossip Girl), and Dani Parker (Netflix’s Midnight Mass).
With New Story, David intends to continue representing her current clients while expanding her production slate. She is actively developing several projects across film and television.
“I’ve been building toward this for a long time,” David shared. “After nearly two decades working across development, production, and management, it felt like the right moment to create a company that reflects the kind of storytellers I want to support. I’m passionate about championing distinctive voices—particularly women and underrepresented creatives—as well as international filmmakers whose stories resonate on a global scale. It feels more important than ever to support work that is bold, emotionally grounded, and reflective of the world we live in.”
