Netflix Unveils Trailer for Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black Season 2 Part 2
Netflix has officially released the trailer for Part 2 of Season 2 of Tyler Perry’s drama series Beauty in Black, set to premiere on March 19. The trailer hints at escalating tensions among the characters as the storyline develops.
In a pivotal moment, Kimmie, portrayed by Taylor Polidore Williams, confronts Mallory, played by Crystle Stewart, stating, “You don’t know everything. What I have to share with you will make you blow that lace front clean off your head.” This line teases the dramatic revelations to come in the new episodes.
The upcoming installment introduces intense plotlines, including Jules, played by Charles Malik Whitfield, who is determined to uncover the truth behind his son’s coma. Meanwhile, Olivia, portrayed by Debbi Morgan, must face a perilous new antagonist, escalating the stakes for all involved.
According to the official logline, the series revolves around a “ruthless, backstabbing family behind a beauty brand — and an underground trafficking ring — [that] will face a reckoning.” Kimmie, having transitioned from a seemingly unassuming sex worker to a powerful figure in the family business, now holds sole ownership and is prepared to take charge.
The main cast also features Xavier Smalls as Angel, Ricco Ross as Horace, Julian Horton as Roy, Steven G. Norfleet as Charles, Richard Lawson as Norman, Terrell Carter as Varney, and Bryan Tanaka as Officer Alex.
